I love one-bowl meals. Not many dishes to wash. Kind of portable. The well-known one in our area is the loco-moco. The Japanese have their donburi.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like loco-moco. Sometimes though, I feel that the gravy clashes with the yolk of the fried egg. Since I think of loco-moco as more of a concept, one of my versions.

The runny yolk serves as the “gravy”. No added salt (the Kalua Pork is salty enough).
Tuck-in and yum.
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, doesn’t matter to me. 🙂
