Everything was delicious, except for the “gator sticks”, a little to gamey for me, but have to try try.

Pork Day!

I know, not that exciting, to me, everyday should be pork day. Hee hee.

Started out with breakfast.

Bacon and Egg Sandwich with Lettuce and Tomato

AKA a BLT with egg. From the nearby chain store. They ran out of focaccia so substituted multi-grain toast. Yum!

Kinda late getting home from church work, picked up a take out on the way home.

Chinese Take-Out

Fried rice, spicy eggplant with tofu, and, the star of the plate, lu rou, similar to hong xiao rou (braised pork belly). First time trying lu rou, I’m now a big fan. Absolutely going back for more.

The Cat, being more the soupy person, had this.

Pig Feet Noodle Soup with Turnip and Beet Greens

Another Eating Event

California Chicken Crispy Flatbread A west coast classic with lemon marinated chicken, sliced avocado, arugula, red peppers, cheese, and cilantro oil. Essentially a salad on a cracker.

The Cat’s Ribs

Mango kiawe barbecue sauce.

All tasty, just not epic. 🙂
