While The Cat’s Away

The Cat had a business dinner last night. The Mouse on his own, hunted for food.

Original plan was steak dinner at neighborhood Ruby Tuesday, but found this instead.

New Territory

The Cat moved office yesterday. The Mouse got a break this week. No bento preparations. Too chaotic for The Cat.

Beans (and Chicken)

The Mouse likes chili, favorite is the vegetarian chili at Zippy’s. Looking for can chili for work lunch convenience. Alas, all cans at the store has way too much salt. Boo!

Fat and salt content more acceptable. Taste? Kinda meh. The Mouse thinks The Cat liked the beans more.

The Mouse went back to his tried and true (with a little modification).

And a little tail end. The Cat went to a seminar yesterday, lunch was buffet. One of the selections.

Window of Opportunity

So, while we were waiting for the hurricane, our part of SPAM Land was not severely impacted like other places, The Mouse ran out to pick up his prescription pills (our area was still outside of the “cone of destruction”).

Pharmacy had texted The Mouse as a reminder to fill prescriptions, just in case. Originally they said they were going to be open. When The Mouse got there, closed for two days. Humph!

Okay, maybe can pick up some breakfast. Everything closed save for one “drive inn”. Wouldn’t you know, owned by Chinese. Hee hee.

I guess if threat not imminent, still can make money. 😉
