Oh oh, The Mouse forgot to hit the send button, again. Ugh! If it ain’t technology, it’s operator error. Yech!
The Cat came home for dinner the other night. The Mouse did an impromptu cleaning of the refridge for her bowl.
Soba noodles, bamboo shoot, turnip, celery, beans, fried tofu, and an egg (hiding underneath). Oh and some kinda mystery sauce that was in the freezer (The Mouse thinks it was roast duck). In any case, tasty. Hee hee.
Enjoy. Eat well.

Sorry, internet was down couple of days. Technology … bleh.
Picked this up from the grocery store over the weekend.
Visually, not too appetizing, at first glance, looked like _____, but The Mouse tried anyway. Very tasty. A little dense, not enough breadcrumbs maybe? Makes for interesting content though. Hee hee.
The Mouse also picked up beets. Simple boil. thought about roasting too late.
Lastly, the Mouse tried a plant butter.
It was good, but The Mouse is wondering if it’s marketing way of rebranding margarine. Oh well. Now that The Mouse knows he can sorta tolerate butter, looking for good butter. Irish maybe?
Enjoy. Eat well.

I know, not earth shaking. The Mouse has been trying to figure out what he can and cannot digest dairy-wise. Even with lactase supplements, which reduce the side-effects of not digesting lactose to a degree, sometimes there are unwanted reactions. Butter is supposedly low in lactose.
The Mouse tested the other night.
Ruby Tuesday at the mall allows substitution of fries for any of their sides, free. Yay!
Between fries and baked potato, The Mouse will most time choose a baked potato, doesn’t feel as heavy in his stomach.
The Mouse usually likes his baked potato, butter only, sometimes bacon and chives. Sour cream would be a no, The Mouse didn’t want to push his luck.
To be cautious, The Mouse took a lactase supplement dose.
Result, no unwanted after effects. Okay, there was just a tiny amount of gas, but nothing to be concerned about. 🙂
TMI? Hee hee.
Enjoy. Eat well.
