The Cat brought home leftovers, The Mouse cannot eat, The Cat will eat for dinner.

Lucky the restaurant was still open. Whew.
Too late to order oxtail soup, too heavy. The Cat ordered lemongrass chicken and spring roll vermicelli.
First time try for The Cat, light and refreshing.
The Mouse finally got liver spread.
Mmm! The Mouse may ask restaurant where they source the pate. 🙂

Sorry about the delay, internet connection had a hiccup.
Chai’s Special menu to celebrate Filipino Food Week. The Cat and The Mouse made reservations for the last day of the special.
Filipino style ceviche.
With malungai leaves and young ginger.
With peanut butter? Mmm.
With pansit and fresh calamansi.
With spicy garlic calamansi dipping sauce. The Cat and The Mouse didn’t have chopsticks, forks were kinda useless, used fingers.
Light and refreshing.

Mostly clearance items, one not.
Okinawan donuts, think malasadas and maybe beignets, although The Mouse has never tried beignets.
Not clearance, but the bread was on sale.

And picked up a few other things. Hee hee.
The Cat’s coffee, from MikeyD’s.
Small coffee, three milk, one hazelnut flavoring.
The local breakfast at the local MikeyD’s. The Mouse was happy. One minor, leave SPAM on the flat top a bit longer to develop crispy edges.
Grocery store in the same complex as MikeyD’s. The Cat ate a sliver for breakfast (with the coffee), rest will be for tomorrow breakfast at the office.
