The Mouse took a temporary job in Kailua. Grocery store nearby offers Hawaiian food on Mondays, Yay!

Lau Lau Plate

Rice, chicken long rice, sweet potato, and the lau lau. Mmm.

Plate also came with small containers lomi salmon, haupia, and a can of soda or bottled water.

Lomi Salmon

Cheap enough, everything under 10 dollars. Right now The Mouse hopes to extend the contract so that he can have more Monday “luau”. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Sunday Pics

Just some Sunday pics.

Bag of Bread Ends

For some odd reason the bakery at the mall cuts the ends off of their sliced bread. The Mouse buys the ends. Not good for sandwich but great for toast. Super cheap too! 🙂

Practice Practice Practice

Radishes and zucchini. The Mouse practicing slicing skills, not good by any means, but maybe a form of meditation? Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

“Cold” (room temperature) Vietnamese vermicelli noodles with barbecue chicken and spring roll.

The Mouse’s Dinner

The Mouse is liking this dish more than pho right now. Everything served, he doesn’t have to add in his own vegetables. Lazy. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Back to “normal” food. Hee hee. Late lunch from neighborhood take-out, not mapo tofu and chicken katsu.

Mushroom Chicken and Teriyaki Pork

Three scoops rice. One for The Cat’s bento next week (with two slices of teriyaki pork), one for her dinner, and one for The Mouse. The Mouse ate most of the mushroom chicken because The Cat is picky about mushrooms, doesn’t like canned, and a slice of pork. Mmm.

Stay safe and well.

Turkey Day

Holiday eats. Not too spectacular, comfort food, kinda sorta.

Breakfast

The Mouse wanted coffee. Cheapest at MikeyD’s, cost of three coffees (two for The Mouse, one senior for The Cat) probably close to buying one at Starbucks. Since there, The Mouse also ordered griddle cakes, English muffin, and pancakes (for The Cat).

Turkey Take-Out

From the neighborhood grocery store. Turkey and all the fixings under 10 bucks. 🙂 The Mouse shared some with The Cat.

Creamy Turkey Soup

Turkey is not The Cat’s favorite, but she likes turkey soup/jook done well. The Cat almost licked the bowl with this one. made by Chef H.

Stay safe and well.
