Just Pics

Not too much happening food-wise. The Cat and The Mouse doing some clean up before the new year. The Mouse dug into one of the Christmas candies.

Chocolate Bar

The Mouse likes their orange peel chocolate bar. This one was okay, The Mouse would have preferred more fruit.

For dindin, The Mouse “cleaned” the pantry/refridge.

The Cat’s Noodle Bowl

Ramen, celery tops, bamboo shoot, dried vegetable. The Cat slurped.

Pau for now.

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Cat’s Corned Beef Hash, Over Easy Order

.

The Mouse’s Bacon, Sausage, Over Easy Order

Both orders sitting on a bed of rice.

The Cat eats neat, all components kept intact, The Mouse eats “mixed”. Mixed the rice and eggs, added preserved mustard cabbage from the refridge, bacon/sausage in left paw, spoon in right.

Mixed

Enjoy. Eat well.

Christmas Brunch

The Cat hosted a small-ish group, those that didn’t have plans for Christmas.

Lobby

Roses and orchids. Interesting combo.

The Mouse ate.

Greens

With shrimp cocktail, largest shrimp for shrimp cocktail The Mouse has seen. Kale salad, beet salad, Brussels sprouts, DIY Caesar salad? with whole anchovies. Nom!

Meat

Prime rib and leg of lamb. The Mouse didn’t see the horseradish and used chimichurri on both. No matter, very good. Like Chinese ginger onion sauce (The Mouse’s favorite condiment). 🙂

Summary Plate

More beets, more Brussels sprouts, a bit of ahi and tako poke, slices of cold cuts. More nom.

Dessert

Signature coconut cake, mint chocolate yule log, pistachio something tart, chocolate dipped fruit, and house made mac nut chocolate balls (which were killer), The Mouse went back for a few more of the balls.

Hope you all (or those the celebrate) had a nice Christmas.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Unwrapped

The goose dinner from Chef H unwrapped.

Goose Dinner

Chestnuts, apples, green beans, oh my! 20 minutes in the toaster oven, delicious!

And another unwrapping. One of The Mouse’s gifts.

Petty Knife with Saya

The Mouse particularly wanted this petty knife because of the included saya cover. He already has a santoku from the same line. Yay!

How did your holiday fare (if you were so lucky)?

Enjoy. Eat well.
