The Cat hosted a farewell dinner for an acquaintance (connected with her mother).

Kapiolani Seafood restaurant.

Steamed Oysters

Four paws! Excellent.

Fresh Crab

The Cat and the guests liked, The Mouse passed. The Mouse doesn’t like to wrestle with his food.

Steamed Fresh Shrimp

Very Good. The Mouse doesn’t mind wrestling shrimp, just not crab and lobster claws.

Shrimp and Eggs

Another four paws dish. 🙂

Also ordered a couple of vegetable dishes and a stir-fried beef dish. The beef dish was good, but, lesson learned, if the restaurant has seafood in its name, stick to seafood dishes. The vegetables were not bad.

Be safe, eat good.

Hawaiian Plate

Only on Friday’s. End of the month, The Mouse splurged a little. 🙂

Kalua pork, laulau, rice, sweet potato, pineapple. Mmm!

Be safe, eat good.

Coleslaw

From the grocery store, end-of-day priced.

Coleslaw

To Mouse, coleslaw is a vegetable. Hee hee.

The Mouse ate half and saved half for lunch today.

The Mouse learned a lesson, last time ate too much at once, too much roughage. Sorry TMI.

Not much else happened for the day. Hee hee.

Be safe, eat good.

Burger and Fries

Jolene’s by the Bay.

Burger and Fries

Not cheap but reasonable. The burger included pickled vegetables (like a slaw), and grilled onions. Mmm.

Side View

Enough quantity for leftovers, lunch today. So in a way, the price for two-ish eats, cheap eats. Hee hee.

Be safe, eat good.
