Apologies to Mr. Lucas.

It’s been a very long time that I visited this place or had Chinese cake noodle (no necessarily at the same time).

Oyster Sauce Chicken Cake Noodle

Noodles baked into a “cake”, oyster sauce chicken, Napa cabbage, gravy all over. I would have preferred “minute” chicken but this was the daily special (cheaper). And … being the pake that I am … Hee hee.

Ended the work week with a little treat(s), it was on  the way to work after picking up the noodles.

Cookies!

Cookies!

Chocolate and oatmeal chocolate. 🙂

Tonight The Cat made reservations for a prix fixe “no menu”, chef’s choice dinner. Should be interesting.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Not us, one of the chefs. Going to France for we don’t know how long. The Cat took him out for a “see ya soon” dinner.

Place

Place

Chef picked. I think he choose the place mostly for the beer and wine selection. 😉

Bread

Bread

Ryan’s foccacia on the left, Chef’s “leftover” mini baguette’s on the right. He had the balls to ask the server to warm them up for us (he good-naturedly did).

Appetizers

Appetizers

Sweet potato fries, artichoke crab dip, seared ahi. Noms.

The Cat's Fish

The Cat’s Fish

Furikake crusted salmon, choi sum with mushrooms, white rice. The Cat liked.

The Mouse's Kalbi Beef Rice Bowl

The Mouse’s Kalbi Beef Rice Bowl

Seared kalbi marinated beef, Korean style pickled vegetables, fried egg, togarashi, kim chee fried rice.

Angled Shot

Angled Shot

Wait, that’s Bibimbap! The Mouse had a brain fart. Hee hee. Dish was well-made though. Nom!

Dessert

Dessert

The Cat’s key lime pie on the right, The Mouse’s mango sorbet on the left. The mango sorbet tasted more like sherbet, creamy with milk, The Mouse was a little concerned, but in the end, no dairy effect on The Mouse. Hee hee.

Have a safe flight Chef, come back soon!

Enjoy. Eat well.
