Foray into Chinatown

Wanted to pick up a lei for a retiring co-worker the other day. Headed to Chinatown.

A “Loco” Kinda Day

This is what happens when Windows and the phone have updates. Time spent swearing at the computer and phone because pictures can’t be transferred. Ugh!

Anywho, Tuesday’s eats.

Made a run to the chocolate shop, now kinda out-of-the-way. Been wanting to try the nearby tofu themed lunch place for awhile.

Very short menu, three or four items and a daily special. I picked …

Loco Moco

Hapa rice, hapa patty (half beef, half tofu), mac salad, tossed greens. One sock off (coulda used a little more gravy and a wee bit more fat in the gravy). Still, would go back.

Complimentary fresh made warm tofu (oboro? tofu).

And a cup of antioxidant water.

I dunno, tasted and looked like water to me.

In keeping with the theme, dinner was also “loco”.

It started with leftover pastele stew.
