Not Kin Wah this time Yen Yen. A little further out. The Mouse was in the mood for their shrimp omelet. The shrimp fuyong at Kin Wah, no comparison, sorry Kin Wah.
Shrimp are bigger, eggs fluffier. 🙂

Chef’s choice dinner. 🙂
Venison, poached pear, spinach, demi-glace. The Mouse could have had this as an entree. Mmm!
“Caesar” salad, red wine vinaigrette, hearts of palm, extra anchovies. The vinegar and anchovy taste combo. Mmm again.
With pasta, tomato coulis. Not sure about the preparation of the salmon, well cooked.
Again, The Mouse didn’t get the preparation again, tasted a little plum-like flavor. The Cat and The Mouse had take most home for later. The venison and the duck, the best.
Mango sorbet. Great combination.
Overall, inspired meal. 🙂

For various reasons, no soup this week.

Not sure Asian Mix wanted to show an open kitchen, but there it was.

Yesterday.
The Mouse’s last day at former job. Yay!
Impromptu Chinese take-out from co-workers. It was also one of the bosses birthdays, so the lunch was a combination of reasons.
