A change of pace, The Mouse wanted Chinese Chop Suey after the Sunday farmers market. The Mouse’s favorite neighborhood chop suey house.

Chow Funn

With vegetables and char siu. Yum.

Moo Shu Pork

So far, normal chop suey fare. Hee hee.

Moo Shu Wraps

The Mouse has a hunch the wraps were tortilla, not Chinese. No matter, semantics. Hee hee.

Pot Roast Chicken

Hmm, not quite pot roast chicken. The Mouse’s opinion. This was crispy skin chicken with gravy and water chestnuts as a disguise.  The Mouse thought pot roast chicken was slow braised with rich gravy. Still good, more research needed.

Roast Pork with Choi Sum

Greens. 🙂

Loads of leftovers. Mouse bento (plural). Yay!

Enjoy. Eat well.

Take-Out Dim Sum

Spent part of Saturday helping a contractor (which is turning out to be pro bono, The Mouse’s choice) with paperwork to try and unravel his accounting records. Originally was going to work for him but eventually ended up somewhere The Mouse thinks he is more suitable.

Contractor’s wife was nice enough to drop off some take out to feed the various people (including The Mouse) in the office.

The Cat had a sleep in (no not the John Lennon/Yoko Ono kind), tax season was “brutal”.

Impromptu dining at the neighborhood chop suey joint.
