Italian, Baci Bistro. Trying to get a table at a Chinese restaurant for new years, good luck. The Cat and The Mouse went Italian instead, Marco Polo and all. Hee hee.

Pear and Blue Cheese Salad

With raspberry dressing, mmm.

Chicken Marsala, Spaghetti Puttanesca

Two of The Mouse’s go-to dishes, given both dishes rarely have cheese in the ingredients.

Pineapple Sorbet, Cream Brulee

All delicious, less crowds. Thumbs up.

Be safe, eat good.

No, not a typo. Dinner at Baci Bistro with The Cat’s business associate and her husband.

Beef Carpaccio
Tri-Color Tomato Salad
Fish of the Day, Salmon

The Mouse forgot the description. The starch was saffron risotto.

Chicken Piccata

The Mouse opted for grilled vegetables in lieu of starch. Mmm.

Be safe, eat good.

Zia’s European Caffe. Not really a client of The Cat, connected to one though.

Shared starters.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts

The Mouse liked the addition of pickled ginger. 🙂

Island Tomato Bruschetta

Dinner.

Tuscan Chicken
Fresh Catch Ono, Piccata Style

The Mouse took two lactase pills, just in case. No problems. TMI? Hee hee.

Be safe, eat good.

The Cat’s took clients out for dinner, The Mouse got to tag along.

Iced Tea
Insalta Pere

Seasonal greens, raspberry vinaigrette, fresh pears, Gorgonzola, and almonds. The Mouse ate around the Gorganzola.

Truffle Gnocchi

Potato dumpling with Ali’i mushroom and black truffles, butter, garlic, and truffle oil sauce.

Spaghetti Con Gamberetti Al Limone

Spaghetti with sauteed shrimp and capers, lemon and white wine sauce.

The Mouse was happy, did not have to contend with dairy ingredients (he can tolerate small amounts of butter).

Pineapple Sorbet

Still no dairy. Yay!

Be safe, eat good.

The Cat bought discounted gift cards at Costco. She used to frequent the restaurant but relocation of her office made it less accessible. The Cat had to use an expiring discount at Macy’s, good opportunity.

The Cat and The Mouse decided to share one pasta and one salad to cut down on calories.

Cappellini Pasta with Meat Sauce

The Cat added on fresh spinach, fresh mushroom, and roasted tomato.

Chopped Salad

The salad doesn’t look like much but hidden was roasted chicken and salami. Mmm!

Crunchy Brussels Sprouts

Perfect accompaniment. 🙂

Be safe, eat good.
