Once more, take out from the neighborhood Italian cafe.

The Cat had her “semi” usual.

The Cat hibernated most of the day. Easter dinner, take-out from the neighborhood Italian-inspired cafe.

Gnocchi Primavera

The Cat’s. w/ zucchini, mushrooms, beets, bell pepper & sun-dried tomato pesto & Pecorino. The Mouse got the bell pepper.

Grilled Rib-Eye

The Mouse’s. Molokai sea salt, roasted potatoes & chef’s vegetables. Four paws nom.

Lotsa leftovers for both The Cat and The Mouse. πŸ™‚

Small support for a local eatery.

The Mouse had to use the rest of the package.

The Cat’s bento today.

The Mouse’s Play

Pan tossed gnocchi with twice-cooked pork belly. Used the simmered pork belly, fried to warm and render some of the oil, tossed cooked gnocchi to coat, finished with dried parsley. Too bad no fresh mushroom. That would have been epic. Hee hee.

The Cat’s Bento

Added roasted sweet potato and asparagus to complete The Cat’s bento.

The Cat’s bento today, a little change-up from the “norm”.

The Base

Gnocchi with Italian seasoned olive oil and dried parsley (not home made, from the grocery store), just boil and drain.

A quick ground pork and zucchini simmer with canned pasta sauce. Ragout?

The Top

With a side of baked sweet potato for variety.

Pasta and Veggies

Sunday dinner. The Mouse a little too sore to cook. Pasta up the street.

The Cat’s Vegetable Gnocchi

The Mouse’s Vegetable Penne Pasta

With extras sauce and garlic bread. Nom.

Little less than half of The Mouse’s dish and about half of The Cat’s dish went home for The Cat’s bento. A little frozen spinach, and a tin of sardines, and The Cat had lunch. πŸ™‚
