The Mouse has not bought frozen soybeans for years, for various reasons. Saw at the grocery store the other day.

Country of origin is Thailand, much better. Plus package was on sale.

The Mouse made a soybean, wakame, frozen spinach soup for lunch.

Vegetable Soup

The Mouse used a little too much shoyu in the base, hence the darkened color. Not good for picture, tasty though. 🙂

The Cat brought home her leftover from lunch for The Mouse.

Pasta with Meat Sauce

The Cat is acquiring the taste for meat sauce, would not have eaten before. Side note, she is trying a little spicer foods too.

Along with the pasta, The Cat ordered two side order meatballs to complete The Mouse’s meal. 🙂

The Mouse ate well. Mmm.

Kinda. Last month’s special at Ruby Tuesday, all pasta dishes discounted. The Cat and The Mouse made it in on the last day.

Grilled Chicken and Brocolli Pasta

All of the pasta selections contained dairy, The Mouse went with an alternative.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Baked Potato

A very good alternative to a burger (and a dollar or so cheaper). Baked potato substituted for fries (and amout 200 calories less). Less less, win win. Hee hee.

Be safe and well.

Spiral pasta, napa cabbage, frozen mixed vegetables, pan-fried salmon (previously frozen). Not soup, just soupy. Hee hee.

No recipe, just assembly. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

At least that’s what The Cat calls these types of dishes (grain or pasta, canned fish, vegetable) made by The Mouse. Heh heh.

“Cat” Food

This time it was orzo pasta, wakame seaweed, frozen spinach, frozen peas and carrot, canned tuna (packed in oil). Mmm. Hee hee. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

The Cat was crunching tax returns at work, The Mouse was left to his own devices. In other words, “weird” eats. Hee hee.

Curry Pasta

“Clearing” the pantry. Not enough of one pasta, just add another. Leftover curry gravy and frozen vegetables. Extra turmeric for the joints.

Turkey Pot Pie

Cheap eats. Package instructions includes statement on not cooking in toaster oven, microwave or conventional oven only. The Mouse being the rebel and economical used the toaster oven anyway, just added a little more time. Baked okay, The Mouse would do it again.

Because The Cat was not around to smell. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.
