Japanese fish-shaped filled pancake pastry. The Mouse bought at newly moved/opened Japanese grocery store at the mall. Traditionally filled with red bean paste. Mmm!
The Mouse will be hibernating soon. Hee hee.

The Mouse serving as driver to The Cat and her school-mate, Waimea Valley Falls. The Mouse was getting kinda tired and didn’t want to attempt the easy hike, sat at the visitor center/staging area. Snack time. 😉
Very good coffee, dark and rich but not bitter. For The Mouse, no sugar needed.
The muffin had a slight molten chocolate texture, mmm. The coffee paired very well with the muffin. The Mouse was happy. 🙂
The Mouse also bought a cookie, just in case the wait was over the expected time (it was).
Nice. Not as wow as the muffin but more than decent.
After snack, The Mouse went back to the car and took a nap. Hee hee.

The Mouse picked up a sandwich from Subway last night. For The Mouse, it’s not about the sandwich, it’s always about the cookie, usually oatmeal raisin. But oatmeal raisin was out yesterday so The Mouse tried this.

Not overly sweet (a good thing), pretty good, a good substitute. Oatmeal raisin still the favorite though. 🙂

The Mouse finished his medical procedure. Everything’s good he thinks. Follow-up with doctor later this month. After the anesthesia wore off, The Mouse was hungry. Ruby Tuesday combo.
The Mouse’s Plate
Top sirloin and grilled chicken with hickory bourbon bacon sauce, broccoli, and zucchini. As hungry as The Mouse was, there were leftover for today’s bento. A Tuesday flash special included two skewers of grilled shrimp.

The Cat wasn’t as hungry so tried a kiddie plate.
Rice, Broccoli, Orange Chicken
No leftovers, cheap eats. Kinda looks like the kiddie order from Panda Express, jus’ sayin’. Hee hee.
The Cat’s order came with a cookie. The Cat gave to The Mouse.

One of The Mouse’s favorite sweets. Cookies!
Oatmeal Cookies, Cherry Chocolate
Staple from MikeyD and Subway (I think it’s a limited run). The cherry chocolate is very good. Will it replace oatmeal raisin cookies as The Mouse’s favorite? Nah. But ranks up there.
Peanut Butter Cookie, Chinese Almond Cookie
From local cookie shop, The Cookie Corner. Peanut butter cookie, second favorite of The Mouse. The almond cookie, made without lard, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Hee hee.
