Last in the series. Finally.
Zippy’s. Small wait.
Battered deep-fried SPAM slices covered with Japanese style curry, rice and mac salad.
The Mouse glad he tried. If he had a choice, he prefers the eggplant curry. The Mouse’s opinion the strong SPAM and curry flavors fought each other while the eggplant had a softer neutral flavor that cooperated with the curry. But still, try try. 🙂

SPAM and cheddar cheese omelet on sweet bread bun. Even without the cheese, The Mouse enjoyed. Definitely will buy/eat again. Nom!

The Mouse’s favorite at Zippy’s.
Zippy’s Vegetarian Chili
Their vegetarian choice adds mushrooms and corn to the mix. Mmm.
The Mouse added turmeric and dried parsley. The turmeric added a different taste The Mouse is not opposed to.
Rushing off to another doctor appointment. Ugh! Too many doctors lately. Oh well.

The Mouse feels like he had a minor setback from the surgery. Doctor said progress is proceeding but maybe The Mouse was not fully prepared for the reality.
The back story, as part of the operation, doctor inserted a Foley catheter into The Mouse (which in itself was pretty uncomfortable/self conscious). The tube was removed this past Friday. And as a result, The Mouse’s “plumbing” is a little “lazy”. Control (both on and off) is a little unsettled right now (sorry TMI).
Long story short, The Mouse did take-out yesterday, less drama/trauma. One of the “go-to” places … Zippy’s
Burger Combo
Burger, fries, large drink (diet, not green river). Zippy’s burgers are in-between MikeyD’s and “gourmet” burgers. Not huge, not tiny either, not fancy, perfect for the situation yesterday.
Vegetarian Chili
The Mouse’s favorite “non-authentic” chili. 🙂
Bread Pudding, Whole Wheat Brownie/Blondie
Dessert, always there for you, good times or bad. Hee hee.
Doctor says the bladder muscles have gone through trauma, have to reset. Ugh.

One of those days, mainly, internet went down, and The Mouse had to get an MRI. But, dinner was good. Zippy’s.

Chicken Long Rice, Brown Rice
Now, this dish was something. The Mouse doesn’t usually go for the chicken long rice (tends to be overcooked and the chicken dry — breast meat). The chef/cook did right. Thigh meat, nicely salted, shredded. Almost fooled The Mouse, could’ve been kalua pork. That good. Compliments to the kitchen.
Hope the put this on the regular menu.
Hopefully back to normal, but you never know.
