The Mouse was looking for braised tendon. The usual restaurant was closed, not sure permanently or temporarily. A little “cafe” around the corner.

Pork Sauce Rice

Name says it all. 🙂

Chili Oil Won Ton

The won ton was good, but The Mouse still likes Kin Wah Chop Suey, still good though. 🙂

A new favorite eatery for The Mouse. 🙂

The Cat wants to try next time.

Be safe, eat good.

Fun Station, “comfort food” before Costco.

Mixed Noodles with Beef Brisket

There was also tendon included. The Cat said she tasted a little chili and vinegar, just enough to tickle the tongue.

The Mouse went with his tried and true order.

Won Ton Soup Noodles

Nicely put together, included a fried egg (which went to The Cat), the won ton also had shrimp inside. Mmm.

Be safe, eat good.

The Mouse returned a mail order item, factory outlet store on the other side of the island. Try try “Taiwanese noodle bar”, Fooki.

Side Order Won Ton

Because, whenever possible, The Mouse eats won ton, or any other dumpling for that matter. Hee hee.

Beef Tendon

Almost cooked through, The Mouse took home most of the tendon, simmer a little longer. Not bad though.

Veggie Scallion Noodles

Mushroom, tofu, onion, cilantro, green onion, scallion oil, stir-fried with noodles. Light and refreshing.

Braised Pork Belly Bowl

Overall, pretty good, slightly pricey, definitely not cheap eats. Worth another try if we are in the neighborhood. 🙂

Be safe, eat good.

Hong Kong Noodle House. Not quite a hole in the wall, Hee hee. Short hours, limited quantity. The Cat and The Mouse went for early lunch, before noon.

Bowls of Noodles

Beef Tendon with look funn noodles, stewed beef and won ton with noodles. Mmm!

Served in disposable dishes. The Mouse guesses due to issues caused by that thing that cannot be named. No matter, street food vibe. 🙂

Comfort food well cooked. Good for The Cat’s stomach.

Oh, a pic of the cooking station. 🙂

Cooking Station

Noodle spa. Hee hee.

The Cat ordered.

Hainan Chicken

The Mouse ordered.

Tendon and Won Ton over Rice

Really good, a good portion of rice, the tendon, wonton, and vegetable just a little sparse though.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is another victim of the situation that cannot be named.

Aww!

The Cat and The Mouse did not frequent this restaurant (this was actually our first time), it was recommended to us by my urologist. But still “the situation that cannot be named” has taken its toll. Sad.

The Cat saw on the menu a porkchop dish that piqued her interest. Hopefully, we can make another visit before …

Be safe and well.
