Turnip slices, kamaboko fishcake, pickled turnip, burdock banchan, tofu squares, furikake. Took longer to make than eat. Hee hee.

There was a leftover cucumber in the refridge. The Mouse decided to make a cucumber sandwich.

Cucumber Sandwich

Not the afternoon tea version, The Mouse version. Whole wheat bread, slightly toasted, Japanese mayonnaise, thinly sliced cucumber, sea salt, paprika, dried dill, crust on. No tea. Hee hee.

The Mouse picked up a container of tofu poke to accompany the cucumber sandwich.

The Cat suggested eating out for lunar new year eve (not Chinese). Japanese and pho combination place, close enough.

Both meals came with miso soup, salad, and rice. Separate dishes. That’s why the Manago Hotel plating. Hee hee.
