The Mouse was craving a liver pâté bahn mi sandwich, feeling maybe needing a little iron boost, Nearby Japanese/Vietnamese go-to restaurant.

Whenever The Cat and The Mouse visit Saito & Pho, majority of the time start with their spring rolls.
The accompanying noodles, vegetables, and herbs enhance the like. 🙂
The Cat ordered her usual oxtail pho, no picture, too many. Hee hee.

Oxtail soup to start The Cat’s week. Go-to Japanese/Pho Restaurant in the neighborhood.
The Mouse was going to order a steamed fish filet with ginger, kitchen was out. Sigh. Alternative was chicken katsu.
There are now two places in the neighborhood that The Mouse can go for chicken katsu, which could be both good and bad. Good is that food is good, bad because The Mouse should be eating healthier. Moderation.
The Mouse also ordered a plate of spring rolls.
The vegetables and noodles give the impression of being “healthier”. Hee hee.

So, The Cat and The Mouse tried the Japanese/Vietnamese restaurant the other day. While there, another customer ordered oxtail soup. Since The Cat likes oxtail soup, we asked him how it was, he said very good. The Cat wanted to try, so the next day we went back.
The broth is same as pho. Not quite what The Cat was expecting but still good (and the leftover broth jelled).
The Mouse went with appetizers.
Well made, The Mouse would order again. Mmm.
Yes, The Mouse ordered again. Hee hee.
