Mango Mango

The Mouse has not browsed the Ala Moana mall in years. Yesterday, The Cat wanted something from one of the stores. Good excuse to do a little walking exercise. Hee hee.

New-ish Taiwanese? snack shop, specializing in fresh mango drinks and snacks.

On the advice of a regular customer, The Cat ordered mango smoothie, only mango, no other ingredients.

Mango Smoothie

Not extra sweet, fruity.

The Mouse is not a big mango person, ordered winter melon tea.

Winter Melon Tea

Fancy, The Mouse felt he had to stick out his pinky. Hee hee. Tea not bad, light and refreshing.

Oh, and to prove that the kitchen uses fresh mangoes…

Fresh Mangoes

Overall, a nice diversion. 🙂

Be safe and well.

After Sunday’s breakfast (corned beef hash), Monday’s lunch.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Plate

Rice, corn, and cabbage went to The Cat’s bento, mixed veggies eaten immediately, corned beef portioned out to at least two sessions.

Didja know that corned beef is not really common Irish? More Americanized? Meat of choice would’ve been salted pork or “bacon”. Yay!

And since I was waiting for the bed sheets to dry at the laundromat (we usually prefer air dry, but the bed sheets are too big and cumbersome), had a matcha smoothie from next door.

Matcha Smoothie

This place lets the customer order the degree of sweetness in their drinks, The Mouse ordered the least amount of sugar. 🙂

One of the better matcha flavored foods in a while.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Running an errand today nearby here.

Good reviews on Yelp. Decided to check it out. Tried mayo-free tuna wrap, dunno why, must have been the medication. 😉

Mayo-Free Tuna Wrap

A Paradise smoothie for my drink.

Paradise Smoothie

The smoothie is made with pineapple, papaya, banana, & orange juice, and frozen yogurt, I requested no frozen yogurt.

The wrap was pretty tasty with some kind of pickled relish and toasted sesame oil (instead of mayonnaise). The wrap did get a little messy at the end, the oil started to soak through. I did kind of miss the mayonnaise texture. The smoothie tasted better than it looked. Hopefully I got a vitamin C boost.

A tasty and healthy lunch.
