Practice, practice, practice: scrambled eggs Gordon Ramsay style. The Cat’s bento, again (same food, different day).

Rice, Scrambled Eggs, Sweet Potato

This time, The Mouse took the pan off the stove while the eggs still looked very runny, after stir, stir, stir with a plastic spoon. The eggs still look runny but a zap in the microwave will finish. This method more time than hot pan, hot oil, sizzle and turn. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse made (assembled? a little of both).

Bento

Rice, roasted sweet potato, scrambled eggs. The sweet potato is from the grocery store, they do a much better roast than The Mouse could do. The scrambled eggs not quite Gordon Ramsay, the residual heat less runny than planned. No matter, still good. Practice, practice, practice. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

“Gordon Ramsey” style, well, maybe not his style but The Mouse learned from watching him on video.

Scrambled Eggs

Probably according to Gordon Ramsey’s criteria, these would be slightly overcooked, not as runny as his in the video, The Mouse left it on the heat a little longer than necessary and the residual heat continued. The Cat deemed still good, especially with the crab paste topping. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

Yesterday was a kind of Murphy’s law day, not serious, just enough.

Breakfast was last minuted from the nearby grocery store, along with fruit and vegetables, and oatmeal for the week.

Breakfast

Fried rice, scrambled eggs, SPAM. It was the tail end of the breakfast hour so kinda almost, but not quite leftover quality (or a little too much time on the steam table), but still not bad, “comfort” food. The Lau Gan Ma chili sauce, just a little, helped.

And since it was a late breakfast, and The Mouse was at the grocery store, he added a little side dish.

Poke with Kukui Nut

Again, with a touch of Lau Gan Ma. The Mouse loves spicy tuna but decided to cut down on the mayonnaise. The Lau Gan Ma is a worthy substitute. Not the same mouthfeel but the Szechuan pepper mouth-numbing effect makes up for it. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Lunch

Roasted/Toasted frozen mixed vegetables, sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic salt.

Dinner

Scrambled eggs, Gordon Ramsey version, not Kristin Kish version, next time. 🙂

Have a great weekend.

Enjoy. Eat well.
