First an update. The “no feet soup” did jell just a bit, with the thinnest lay of fat on the top. Not really photogenic, so no picture.

The neighborhood Ruby Tuesday is running a promotion for June, bring in a can of food for the food bank, and the restaurant knocks off $5.00 the check.

Since yesterday was a holiday for The Mouse …

Veggie Trio

Green beans, zucchini, baked potato. The order comes with “all you can eat” salad bar.

The Mouse’s salad bar plate

So, The Mouse, being pake, filled up on the salad bar, and took home the potato and zucchini for another day. Appears The Mouse is not the only one with this strategy, read it in an online food article too. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Lately, whenever we eat at Ruby Tuesday, The Mouse’s order is the same, three sides (spaghetti squash, broccoli, and zucchini) with salad bar.

Plate #1

Mushrooms, broccoli, French dressing, bacon. 🙂

Plate #3

Plate #3

Similar to plate #1. Plate #2 was different, potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, fruit, but The Mouse forgot to take a picture. Was really into the mushrooms and broccoli Sunday.

There’s a very pake reason for being a creature of habit, The Mouse can eat his fill on the salad bar and take the vegetables home for lunch the next day. Two meals! Plus, the order is one of the cheaper dishes on the menu that includes the salad bar. Ka-chang! Hee hee!

The Cat was more up to trying something new.

ATM Benedict with Fruit Bowl

ATM Benedict with Fruit Bowl

Can’t find description on-line (“what does ATM mean???), but, it was vegetarian with avocado, tomato, and mushrooms (if I had to guess).

We arrived just between breakfast and lunch. The Cat ordered breakfast, The Mouse ordered “lunch”. Perfect.

Zucchini and spaghetti squash. 🙂

Hope you had a happy Valentine’s day (if you are so inclined).

Enjoy. Eat well.

And soup, and mud pie.

Weather has been hot, humid, and sticky. The Cat was in the mood for salad, coincidentally, The Mouse too.

Salad!

Salad!

The top was salad from a chain store salad bar. Must have adjusted for local tastes, amongst the choices, tofu salad and kimchi. Hee hee. Don’t even remember all of the ingredients I tossed in. The bottom plates from Ruby Tuesday salad bar on our side of the island. We still have a number of gift cards purchased from Costco (long story).

More Salad, Soup, and Mud Pie

More Salad, Soup, and Mud Pie

The Cat’s Ruby Tuesday salad bar selection, The Mouse’s Chicken Tortilla Soup (Yum!), and The Cat’s Mud Pie. I think The Cat chooses Ruby Tuesday for the Mud Pie.

Enjoy. Eat well.
