Had to try the pickles from bought at the farmers market.

Sprouted Wheat and Seed Bread

Also bought from the farmers market.

Leftover roast beef would do nicely.

Roast Beef Sandwich

Butter, Dijon mustard, pickles, banana peppers, shiso leaves (hiding under the roast beef), on spouted wheat and seed bread. Yum!

Pickles are very mild, just The Mouse’s taste, can eat them alone in a sandwich with just butter. Hmm, maybe next sandwich.

The Mouse hasn’t gotten to explore around his new job location yet, there seems to be a lot of eating places 5 or 10 minute drive, still getting used to the job (less than a week) and not sure of the traffic conditions yet.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Looks like shiitake mushrooms to The Mouse. Picture when the can is opened.

Preserved Vegetable

The Mouse always knew this as spicy pickled mustard cabbage hearts. Condiment to noodles or steamed with sliced pork belly -Ono!

Mixed Grain Rice

Eventually end up in The Cat’s bento.

Sorghum Rice

An unfamiliar ingredient for The Mouse. A try try item. Have to Google.

Weather was still soggy yesterday (blue skies today) but cleared enough for The Mouse to venture out.

Enjoy. Eat well.
