At first, The Cat wanted to visit a bakery in town, and look for good ma-po tofu. But yesterday being Mother’s Day, there may be crowd issues. In the end, The Cat and The Mouse stayed in the neighborhood and ate comfort food.
Instead of noodles, The Cat requested rice, more traditional. A better choice.

One of The Cat and The Mouse’s favorite neighborhood eating spots, serves some Japanese and Vietnamese foods.
The Cat ordered Vietnamese, The Mouse ordered Japanese.
Oxtail soup (pho style) and grilled pork chops (teri style) with sashimi. Best of both worlds. 🙂

The Mouse used to want “everything but the kitchen sink” in his pho bowl. Lately, he wants lighter fare.
The Cat ordered her normal oxtail soup pho.
The Mouse ordered vegetable pho (from the neighborhood Vietnamese/Japanese restaurant).

Pho style, first time back at the neighborhood Vietnamese/Japanese restaurant since The Cat finished quarantine.
The Mouse wanted something lighter than the normal pho meat combination.
Hits the spot.
The Cat had her go-to oxtail soup.
Cool weather, hot soup, good combination. 🙂

The Cat had a craving. Back to the Japanese/Vietnamese neighborhood restaurant.
Taste was okay, too much ice. The Cat’s will request less ice next time.
The dish is becoming one of The Cat’s regular orders.
The Mouse had BBQ (grilled) chicken. No picture, nothing much to see. Hee hee.
A good non-dairy dessert. The Cat and The Mouse are working their way through the varieties. Hee hee.
