The Mouse eats.

Breakfast.

Mixed Rice

Leftover pasteles stew with rice. The Mouse added frozen vegetables for “balance”. Hee hee.

Lunch was not pork, in fact no meat. I know. Weird yeah?

Fruits

Orange, prunes, grapes.

Miso Soup

Dinner, more pork.

Lechon Kawali

The Mouse also picked up from the grocery store “Japanese Potato Salad”. Large chunks of potato mixed with Japanese pickles (namasu) and mayo. Clearance item.

Japanese Potato Salad

The Mouse likes the clearance section at the grocery store, chance to try something different with less buyer’s remorse. Or a good deal on favorites. Must have Forrest Gump chocolate box mindset. Hee hee.

Pasteles Stew

A treat for The Mouse, he has to eat it alone, The Cat can’t digest some of the ingredients (bell pepper, onions).

Lunch

The Mouse did share two-thirds of the rice, some of the pork and olives with The Cat (she can eat those).

Mmm. 🙂

Pasteles Stew over Rice

Pork stew, pasteles inspired, might be a local modification. Mmm.

The Mouse’s dinner.

One Bowl

Fried noodles, choi sum, roasted Brussels sprouts, olives, tilapia. Steamed. Easy clean-up. Emptied 4 containers out of the refridge. Yay! Messy but tasty.
