Grocery shopping. The Cat returns tomorrow. The Mouse restocked the fresh fruits and vegetables. And picked up a little dinner.

Cheap Eats

Pastele stew, brown rice, steamed veggies, and corn. 🙂

Pastele stew, pork stew with olives and bell peppers. The Mouse likes the grocery store version, not as “intense” as other “authentic” versions. Sigh. The Mouse is just a wimp. Hee hee.

The attached K-12 school had their “spirit week” this past week. Invited food trucks on campus the whole week. The Mouse resisted until yesterday.

Aloha Friday Plate

With local greens instead of mac salad. Overall, not bad, although, The Mouse prefers the grocery store plate, a little more quantity and a little lower cost.

Cubicle neighbor had his pastele stew.

Not sure if the stew version is local or if there are other “stew” out there. Anyone know?
