The Cat’s spaghetti with white clam sauce leftover from The Old Spaghetti Factory.

Kitty Box

Not quite enough for a full meal. The Mouse went to the grocery store.

Haul

The Mouse’s favorite no-recipe “throw everything in and pray for the best” cooking.

Clam Chowder Noodles with Vegetables

Mustard cabbage, corn, and asparagus. The Cat slurped. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

From the previous post, The Cat brought home leftover dan dan mein. The Mouse was not going to touch that (channeling MC Hammer, hee hee), too spicy.

The Mouse did try to make the noodles less spicy.

Water (lots), zucchini, angel hair pasta, half of the leftover dan dan noodles at the end, just to warm.

Mild Dan Dan Noodle Bowl

Oh yeah, and half an ajitama egg from the ramen shop at the mall. The Cat said the spice level was much better. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

The Cat had another errand on the west side of SPAM Land. Lunch at one of our “new” favorite locations. Mandalay Restaurant. They used to be downtown which was a hassle for The Mouse. They downsized and moved to the Kaimuki area. Accessible parking, less crowded. Yay!

Steamed Tripe
Eggplant (Mild)
Seafood Fried Noodles
Custard Tart

Appears that The Cat will be making semi regular errands in that area, The Mouse is looking forward to more visits. Mmm. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse was MIA yesterday, helping The Cat on a rush order. While not entirely on the scale of Rogue One …

Sunday lunch eats, after a somewhat “difficult” errand, Taiwanese style tea shop, The Cat wanted something soupy.

To The Mouse, the pork was kinda like if Zippy’s chili was dry without beans or mapo tofu without the tofu, also dry. Not bad.

Fried Dumplings

Very good, except The Cat had to limit since the filling contained chives (not digestible). The Mouse liked.

Taiwan Omelette with Dried Pork

Best dish of the day. Crepe, scrambled egg, dried pork floss, cucumber. The Mouse tried this once before as take-out. Eat-in was much better.

The Mouse is looking for his own droid for the next time. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

The Chinese restaurant that used to be downtown moved to the outskirts of the city. The owners said the downtown location was too big. The Cat and The Mouse coming back from an errand, both getting hungry. Too late for dim sum.

Salt and Pepper Porkchop

Moist and tender.

Chinese Broccoli

Cooked well, tender but still crisp.

Singapore Style Rice Noodle

Mild curry flavor. One of the better versions The Mouse has eaten recently.

Appears that there will be more errands in this area, repeat visits to this eatery might be in the foreseeable future. 🙂

Maybe early enough to get dim sum.

Stay safe and well,

The Mouse
