A quick run into the Korean grocery store, just to look. Hee hee.

The Mouse came out with two items.

Potato Starch Noodles

Chewy texture. Since The Cat liked the other package of noodles because of its chewi-ness, The Mouse thought she might like this. Update in future.

SPAM Kimbap

The Mouse couldn’t resist. Korean sushi and SPAM. Mmm!

Stay safe and well.

Jus’ random pics, cleaning out the phone. Thankfully, Hurricane Douglas veered off at the last minute.

Honey

The Cat took a client to dinner the other night, this was his “omiyage” to The Cat. Honey is produced by bees raised by the university for study and research.

Another Bowl of Noodles

Somen noodles, beet greens, fried egg. Soup noodles. One of The Cat’s favorite foods.

Dessert

The Cat brought home from the client dinner. The Mouse ate for breakfast yesterday (waiting out the hurricane).

Stay safe and well.

Curry chicken, instant noodles, coconut milk, frozen cauliflower, canned bamboo shoot.

The Cat’s Soup Bowl

The Cat slurped.

The Mouse trying to finish a project at work. He feels like the guy with a shovel and a rolling dustbin following the elephants in a parade. Ugh! Oh well, job security I guess.

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse couldn’t decide what to do with the chicken feet he picked up last week. In the end, simply soup. Long and slow. Apple cider vinegar, star anise, whiskey.

First serving, a bowl of soba noodles, chicken feet with soup, more whiskey, dried seaweed, asparagus.

Bowl of Noods

A counterpoint to Saturday “indulgence”. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse boiled some roasted chicken bone scraps, noodles and Shanghai cabbage.

The Cat slurped. 🙂

Stay safe and well.
