The Mouse at home. The Cat at work. The Mouse will eat funny. Not funny haha, funny, hmm.

The Mouse has been eating oatmeal for breakfast for a couple of weeks. Yesterday, changed up just a bit. Instead of adding stevia, cinnamon, and raisins, The Mouse added seashell pasta, mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and turmeric. The Mouse felt savory.

Savory Oatmeal/Pasta

Dinner was “healthy”.

Wood-ear fungus “salad”, salt and vinegar dressing.

Wood-Ear Fungus

Funny, The Mouse doesn’t like salt and vinegar seasoned fried chicken (popular in SPAM Land) but likes the flavoring with the fungus.

The Mouse was in the mood for miso soup.

Miso Soup

Instant miso soup, white stem cabbage remnants. Mmm.

Stay safe and well.

Rice Bowl

Steamed rice, mushroom gravy, crispy SPAM, teri chicken.

Soup

Turnip (with tops) and miso soup.

Although the food were leftovers, The Mouse ate good. Mmm. πŸ™‚

Stay safe and well.

Try Try

The Mouse bought.

Can

Tempted from a couple of weeks ago. Shape is round so The Mouse is thinking frying a slice on a burger. Stay tuned.

Since he was here, bought dinner.

Seasoned Turnip Tops, Shrimp Patty Katsu Bento

The turnip tops was both spicy and fermented with bean paste. Could be probiotic? Hee hee. Bento was late bird discounted. Cheap eats.

The Mouse also made instant miso soup. Cold weather (relatively).

Instant Miso Soup

The Cat ate dinner at the office. Tax season has begun.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Had to do some business in town yesterday.

Planned to try a new-ish vegetarian Chinese lunch spot. Got to town too early. Not about to wait.

Ended up at a Ahi Lovers (Yelp link:Β http://www.yelp.com/biz/ahi-lovers-honolulu). Paid a dollar extra for miso soup and salad.

I kid you not. Good thing there was pepper on the table.

Overall, not bad, especially priced at a Hamilton with no tax. πŸ™‚

Any big plans for tomorrow?

Enjoy. Eat well.
