“Brunch” this past weekend. Don Goyo’s Mexican Food. Lucky we went soon after opening. Filled up pretty fast. The Cat wanted to try the carnitas (the dish approved by cuz P).

Carnitas

Roasted pork served with lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. Choice of corn or flour tortillas.

As good as the first time, slightly crispy on the outside, moist and juicy (and a little fatty) on the inside. Yum!

Since The Cat ordered the carnitas, The Mouse went with another dish that routinely sells out, chile verde.

Chile Verde

Pork in a green tomatillo sauce, served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Choice of corn or flour tortillas.

The Mouse is torn. There are now two favorite dishes at Don Goyo’s. What a dilemma. And, to add to the “problem”, server said that the chile rojo is also excellent. Decisions, decisions (in a good way). đŸ™‚

Hibiscus flavor? It was okay, nothing bad, did not knock the socks off. But, try try.
