Just random shots, cleaning out the phone. 🙂

The View

The Mouse wishes he could say the view at the start of an adventure, seeking treasure, or righting a wrong (hunting hoarding dragons?) but alas, only the drive to work. Hee hee.

Purple Sweet Potato Cheesecake Tart

Two bite sized. Nom.

Vegetables with Hummus

Frozen spinach and frozen okra. Zapped in the micro, topped with hummus. Desk lunch.

Simply sliced, salt and peppered. Dinner.

Purple, green, red. “Taste the rainbow.” Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Hummus Snack

Newbie co-worker definitely has mothering instincts. She’s been baking and making breakfast for the office quite often.

She bought a case of snack packs from Costco and shared with The Mouse.

Apparently thinks The Mouse’s snacking routine has not been the healthiest. Ugh!

Pretzels and Hummus

Cute ya?

Enjoy. Eat well.

Eating Vegetables

Spinach and Artichoke Flavored Hummus

Not the most photogenic but tasty.

Use the cucumber to dip into the hummus.

Why did the cucumber slices remind me of the movie Beetlejuice. Does The Mouse have to make an appointment with Dr. Sigmund? Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Cat and The Mouse kinda went lounge hopping for Easter “dinner”.

100 Sails running a half off happy hour special through April. Being pake, gotta take advantage. Hee hee.

Mushroom Flat Bread

The Cat thought okay, no socks off.

Korean Fried Cauliflower

KFC, hee hee. The Cat and The Mouse liked. One half to one sock off.

Cauliflower Close Up

Hummus with Taro Chips

This dish was more “meh”. Either not enough seasoning, or not enough olive oil. Chips were good though.

Uni Pasta Carbonara

This dish was the winner. Squid ink pasta, uni, ikura, shiso leaves. Two socks off. More please. 🙂

Next, headed over to Herringbone (Oyster Hour) for one of The Cat’s favorite vegetable dishes.

Brussels Sprouts and Candied Pecans

So good, The Cat ordered two, one for her bento this week.

And since it is “oyster hour” …

The Cat also wanted to try the restaurant’s signature Buffalo Octopus.

Buffalo Octopus

Slow braised then grilled octopus, spicy sauce, black-eyed peas, ranch dressing. The Cat was more impressed than The Mouse. For The Mouse, flavors didn’t quite mesh together. But, try try.

Dindin ended with a trio of sorbet.

Dragonfruit (only for Easter), coconut, and lilikoi.

Not traditional Easter, but then, why not. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Frozen veggies.

The medley.

Potato, Beans, Red Bell Pepper

Brussels Sprouts

Packaged hummus.

With Roasted Pine Nuts

The vehicle to move the hummus from bowl to The Mouse’s mouth.

The tomato and olive oil taste complimented the hummus perfectly. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.
