Hummus?

The Mouse bought from the grocery store, on clearance.

Hummus?

White beans, edamame, sesame seeds. Not bad, taste was okay, texture was too smooth? The Mouse is used to a grainier hummus texture.

The Mouse made an open-faced sandwich.

Lunch

Japanese bakery bread, toasted, hummus, sauteed onions, sliced tomato, salt and pepper to taste. Mmm. 🙂

“Knocked Out”

Friday was a little “uncomfortable”. The Mouse took a prescribed pain killer and went to bed. I guess the painkiller did what it was intended to do. The Mouse was knocked out until mid-morning Saturday.

Lunch was a riff on the sandwich he is currently obsessed with.

Sandwich

Similar ingredients, similar effect. Sourdough bread (should’ve lightly toasted first, next time), hummus, deli ham slices (instead of bacon), shiso leaves (instead of spinach), no mushrooms :(. Still good.

After “lunch”, The Mouse went back to bed, guess he is still in recovery mode. Hee hee.
