Costco Eats

An early Sunday Costco run. Treats for The Mouse.

Hot Dog

It has been at least a year, or two since The Mouse ate a Costco hot dog. Mmm.

I think my doctor would be okay with that (not the hot dog, the interval between). Moderation right?

Churro

The churro got bent during transit, that’s okay, it was still good. Reminds The Mouse of Chinese fried donuts for breakfast (without the sugar). Happy mouse. Hee hee.

“Hand” Eats

The Mouse stayed at the contract job longer than expected, getting hungry. Burger shop across the street.

Kalua Pork Sliders

Light mayonnaise, extra pickles. About 3-4 bites each. Tasty, but pricey. Did I mention The Mouse was hungry? Next time The Mouse will pack a granola bar or something.

Dinner was clearance shelf hot dog rolls from the grocery store.

Hot Dog Rolls

Usually, the hot dogs in these rolls are kinda skinny, these hot dogs were substantial. With yellow mustard, mmm.

The price of the hot dog rolls made up for the slider cost. Averaged out. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

Double Barreled

Hee hee. Possibly the last of the shiso this season. Apple for balance, and “keeping the doctor away”.

Stay safe and well.

Eating in place. The Mouse’s dinner.

Sausage and Apple

Whole wheat bun, smoked sausage, shiso leaves, yellow mustard, sweet relish, apple. Nom!

Better than Costco $1.50 hot dog? Dunno. But for now, The Mouse doesn’t like crowds, never did before and even more so now.

Maybe order out tonight. depends on The Cat.

Happy Easter!

Stay safe and well.

One Pot

The Mouse’s dinner.

“Beans and Frank”

Sorta. The Mouse’s method. Rummage through the refridge/freezer and throw things in. Black eye peas, hot dog, spinach, parsley, broccoli stems (because The Cat doesn’t eat broccoli stems), salt, lots of black pepper, and a little shichimi togarashi.

Quick too, about 20 minutes total.

The Mouse nommed. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.
