The Mouse errand to the post office. Tried nearby okazu-ya (Japanese deli). Forgot to take a pic of the front. Kinda hole-in-the-wall-ish. Sorta late morning, slim pickings.
The hot dog was meh (probably sat in the warmer too long), the hamburger patty was ok, the char siu was above average. Try try.
No sushi or musubi needed. The Mouse had a ham sandwich with the okazu-ya picks.

A treat for The Mouse. 🙂
The Mouse added Kewpie mayo and pickled turnip slices.
The Mouse doesn’t like adding condiments on site, the hot dog and bun gets soggy. Eww! The Mouse had an empty condiment container (planned ahead).
Two squirts of ketchup, four squirts each of mustard and relish.
Ideally, The Mouse spoons the condiment on just before each bite. 🙂

Yesterday was a lazy day. Stayed in.
Brunch.
The last of the hot dog sized buns. Two hot dogs left. Number of buns and hot dogs rarely match up. Sigh.
Dinner.
In anticipation of the extra hot dogs, The Mouse bought a package of fried fishcake. Half a package of instant noodles, wakame seaweed, lima beans, carrots, hot dog, fishcake, no powdered soup base, much less salt. 🙂

Hot dog sandwich, Kewpie mayonnaise, Bulldog sauce, sandwich roll, roasted sweet potato. Meat fits bread. 🙂

The Mouse likes the hot dog and soda from Costco. Sometimes though the hot dog is a little too much for The Mouse.
The Mouse has some long rolls at home, picked up a package of “bun length” hot dogs from the grocery store. Split down the middle, dry-pan heated.
Hot dog, Kewpie mayonnaise, Bulldog sauce, apple, banana. Smaller hot dog than Costco, just the right sized. 🙂
