Double Barreled

Hee hee. Possibly the last of the shiso this season. Apple for balance, and “keeping the doctor away”.

Stay safe and well.

Eating in place. The Mouse’s dinner.

Sausage and Apple

Whole wheat bun, smoked sausage, shiso leaves, yellow mustard, sweet relish, apple. Nom!

Better than Costco $1.50 hot dog? Dunno. But for now, The Mouse doesn’t like crowds, never did before and even more so now.

Maybe order out tonight. depends on The Cat.

Happy Easter!

Stay safe and well.

One Pot

The Mouse’s dinner.

“Beans and Frank”

Sorta. The Mouse’s method. Rummage through the refridge/freezer and throw things in. Black eye peas, hot dog, spinach, parsley, broccoli stems (because The Cat doesn’t eat broccoli stems), salt, lots of black pepper, and a little shichimi togarashi.

Quick too, about 20 minutes total.

The Mouse nommed. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Package

The Mouse did a little char on the frying pan to the franks, a little margarine and whole grain mustard to the toasted buns. Overall, The Mouse liked, didn’t even mind that the buns kinda overwhelmed the franks, the bread was tasty in itself. The franks were slightly smoky, tasted a little more sausage-y less hot doggy if that makes sense. A good try. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Mouse Eats “Funny”

But long-time readers already knew that.

So, The Mouse doesn’t like to eat messily. Hot dogs and burgers with the works? Fork and knife please.

The Mouse was in the mood for a Costco hot dog for lunch, he had an idea, instead of loading up the hot dog (messy eating), he took his lunch container (he forgot at the warehouse the previous day). Walked over to Costco (the warehouse is across the street), and bought his hot dog.

Costco Hot Dog

The Mouse used his lunch container to contain the condiments.

Condiments

The Mouse was going for more of a parfait look but turned out more like a failed Jackson Pollock painting. Hee hee.

But the method worked. The Mouse was able to dress each bite of the hot dog without wearing the condiments. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.
