Barley, Black-Eyed Peas, Canned Tuna

Olive oil, turmeric, mayonnaise. Not pretty, but mmm.

Yellow Squash and Lentil Curry over Rice

All of the ingredients, except for the tuna, were components of The Cat’s bento. The Mouse just made a little more. ๐Ÿ™‚

No “cooking” (stove top), just cutting board and toaster oven.

The Mouse’s fruit “salad”.


Orange, apple, mandarin orange. Perfect hand food. No utensils needed. Hee hee.

Hot Entree

Tomato (olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano), sweet potato, breakfast sausage, all toasted together. Mmm! Nom!

Almost, but not quite finger food (the tomato was a little squishy). ๐Ÿ˜‰

Last night schedule was wonky. Quicky soup bowls for dinner.

Wakame, instant noodles, bamboo shoot, cucumber, fried egg.ย

A little less complicated from the Cat’s. Wakame, frozen wonton, frozen vegetables.

Quick and easy.

The Cat wanted a light dinner. The Mouse cleaned out the refridge/freezer a bit.

The Mouse boiled some roasted chicken bone scraps, noodles and Shanghai cabbage.

Bowl of Noods

The Cat hibernated on Sunday. The Mouse threw together a bowl of noods for her dinner. Kinda eating in place.

Soup Noodles

Soba noodles, pork broth, turnip water, cabbage, black-eyed peas, an egg, and mac nut olive pesto (leftover from the neighborhood Italian cafe.

The bowl of noods was not too photogenic but tasted okay.

Enjoy. Eat well. Stay safe.
