Back to a one pot dish (skipped a couple of weeks), some for The Mouse’s dinner, some for The Cat’s lunch. Keeping it simple.
From the Korean grocery store.
Again from you know where.
The Cat says turnips and pork is a classic combination in Chinese cooking.
Turnips, pork belly, red miso, gojujang (from my Bibimbap lunch), leaf kimchi (just a little bit), water, soju.
Low temp simmer.
First day taste was a little “interesting”. Today, the flavors mellowed and combined. Yes!
Bowl of rice, stew (with gravy). Perfect.
Enjoy. Eat well.
