According to the labels, no sugar added, just pineapple juice. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Mouse’s leftover lunch.

Leftover Pork Chop

The pork chop, leftover from The Cat’s Friday lunch, pita, and pickled peppers. Mmm. The Mouse not complaining. ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay safe and well.

The Cat wanted to try.

Package

The Mouse followed directions on the package. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

The Result

Really good for frozen. May buy again. Might even end up in The Cat’s bento. ๐Ÿ™‚

Best part, each fillet is in its own individual pouch. Don’t have to fight to separate the fillets. Thumbs up.

Stay safe and well.

Dumplings!

The Mouse acquired from warehouse clean-out. Dunno if “slightly” expired or sample.

Package

“No MSG added”, a good thing.

The Mouse boiled them with trimmings from broccoli sprouts? The Cat got the tops, the floret/sprout section.

The Mouse Bowl

For frozen, the dumplings were really good (with ponzu on the side for dipping). The greens weren’t bad either. Another three or four serving of dumplings left. Mmm. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Mouse made a good pick.

Stay safe and well.

The warehouse is trying to move inventory. Special for employees.

Frozen

Much more than just one dish for The Cat and The Mouse. The Mouse is contemplating the possibilities. Soup with vegetables, possibly turnip, maybe cabbage, shoyu or miso braised, maybe, just maybe, if The Mouse is feeling super adventurous, li hing mui braised.

Whatchathink?

Stay safe and well.

Eaten on the same day as the vegetarian chili. Coincidence? Conspiracy? Nah, just in the mood. Hee hee.

Started with.

Deep Fried Tofu

The Mouse said it was vegetarian, not necessarily healthy. Hee hee.

Faux Ground Beef

Same brand as the faux chicken strips The Mouse was not a fan of. The “beef” crumble was much better. The Mouse would buy this “crumble” again. Paw up.

Frozen Spinach

Nuked the whole thing at the warehouse for lunch. Not bad. The Mouse made the mistake of salting the spinach before nuking. The crumple had enough seasoning for the tofu and the spinach without extra salt. Next time, no salting.

So, The Mouse is trying to cut back on the volume and frequency of consuming carbs. Not cutting out entirely, just limiting. At the doctor’s scale yesterday, lost a few pounds, long way to go, but at least going in the right direction. Yay!

Enjoy. Eat well.
