Sunday dinner after nap. Comfort food.

A favorite of The Cat’s.
Leftovers enough for three bento lunches! 🙂
Enjoy. Eat well.

That’s what the post-it notes on bags of food in the warehouse refrigerator said. Leftovers from a cook-out the warehouse had mid-week. The Mouse is not about to argue.
There was also pork chops, fried chicken, crab, and lobster. The Mouse’s choice was easiest to eat at the cubicle.
Off to pick-up prescriptions and maybe get a bite.
Enjoy. Eat well.

Yesterday’s dinner. Preliminary plan was to try and visit a St Patrick’s Day block party, but decided to sleep in instead.
The Cat woke up too late for any early bird specials, ended up at the go-to chop suey house (not a bad thing).

After Sunday required nap, The Cat was in the mood for soup (90% of the time The Cat is in the mood for soup). Up the street to the neighborhood chop suey.
Almost old school style. Not as “rich” as old school, but, The Cat was satisfied.
The Mouse, not as crazy a soup fanatic as The Cat.

Quite a bit of leftover, guess we thought we were hungrier than we were. That’s okay, less prep time in the kitchen for The Mouse. 🙂
Enjoy. Eat well.

Eat more greens and veggies. It’s not that I don’t like vegetables, just kinda strayed during the holidays. Have to get back to “normal”.
New Year’s lunch with one of The Cat’s relatives. Kinda an “obligation” thing. And, has to be Chinese food. Ended up at Nice Day Chinese Seafood Restaurant.
In trying to stick to the new year’s resolution, The Mouse ordered greens.
The Cat ordered noodles.
The Cat’s relative was the “naughty” one (at least as far as resolutions go).
The Mouse tried to stick to the plan and ate mostly vegetables, but the kau yuk was too tempting. So, I had one piece. Think of it as easing into the habit. At least it was only one piece. And the leftovers were taken by the relative to remove further temptation. 🙂
Enjoy. Eat well.
