The Mouse on another errand for The Cat. Near Yen Yen chop suey. The Mouse’s favorite Chinese plate lunch.

Plate Lunch

Rice, ginger onion chicken, pot roast pork, beef with vegetables, fried won ton (two). The Mouse packed the rice, chicken, vegetables, and part of the pot roast pork to The Cat’s bento, he ate the beef, fried won ton, and the rest of the pot roast pork. Mmm.

Stay safe and well.

Turkey meal from Chinese restaurant downtown.

Turkey

Well cooked, moist and tender.

Green Beans

Sauteed, no cassarole. Nice.

Ham and Roast Pork

Very nice, The Mouse can make ham sandwiches. The Cat appreciated the roast pork (she’s okay with turkey, but roast pork is better).

Mochi Rice

No mashed potatoes, that’s okay, doctor told The Cat to avoid mashed potatoes.

Stuffing

Traditional. 🙂

Pumpkin Custard Tarts

Pumpkin pie, Chinese version. Hee hee.

All in all, a good meal. 🙂

Leftovers for a couple of days. 🙂 🙂

Stay safe and well.

From the previous post, The Mouse saw pics of beef stew with tendon (Chinese style) from a hole in the wall Chinese chop suey house near the warehouse where The Mouse works. Parking is an issue, especially during weekday commuting hours (tow away zone).

The Mouse specifically drove to town to try yesterday.

Beef Stew with Tendon on Rice

Not bad, quantity was huge, two meals, dinner for The Mouse, bento for The Cat, very tender. The Mouse didn’t get to try the tendon went to The Cat’s bento. Priced decently. Could’ve been a little more aggressively seasoned. The Mouse couldn’t detect any five-spice seasoning. But that’s just The Mouse. Also, not sure the beef was brisket, little too lean. But, try try.

The Mouse also ordered char siu bao buns, relatively cheap.

Char Siu Buns

The Mouse added shiso leaves (the maybe last remnants for this season). Dunno, but the buns somehow remind me of Audry II? Any resemblance is unintentionally coincidental. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Partial lockdown. Take-out only.

No Sitting/Seating

Interior, Panda Express.

At least The Mouse can still do take-out.

Take-Out

Beef broccoli, teri chicken, super greens, chow funn. 1/3 went to The Mouse’s bento today.

Stay safe.

The Mouse needed to take a walk around the mid-week farmers market. A visit and purchase from Picnics from the Vine (pic later), and a bargain din-din purchase.

Summer Rolls

One chicken, one beef. Not bad, just sitting for a bit (rice paper kinda chewy). But, it was bargain priced. Nothing a schmear of peanut butter couldn’t solve. Hee hee.

Rice Noodle Bento

Again, chicken and beef combo. The Mouse ate the beef, everything else went into The Cat’s bento today.

The Cat had her own “hump day” food.

Assorted Chinese Take-Out

And

Fried Rice

She and her minions still working on the tax deadline.

Enjoy. Eat well.
