Chicken Noodle Soup with Turmeric

The turmeric gives the soup an earthy curry flavor. The Mouse is not sure what other foods turmeric will season that The Mouse will like. More research necessary.

The Cat had a “noodle soup” bowl of wood ear fungus, pasta, frozen soybeans, frozen peas, choi sum, and the liquor from the drunken chicken. So, in a way, chicken noodle soup”, Hee hee.

We were going to toss the liquor but The Cat’s mother said to use in broth or stir-frys. Good advice “waste not, want not”. 🙂

Nothing too exciting, but in a way, that’s what Labor Day is for … not laboring. Hope you had a good one.

BTW, my WordPress reader seems to be on holiday, it keeps cycling through a number of posts, I suspect some post may have not been  listed in my reader, I apologize if I did not get to your post. 😦

Enjoy. Eat well.
