Lotsa Katsu

The Mouse has been eating lotsa chicken katsu lately, not by choice, although The Mouse does enjoy, but because its being offered on specials. And The Mouse likes specials. Hee hee.

First was over the weekend, bought on the way back from getting vaccination.

Second was part of the daily special from the take-out diner in the neighborhood. Second entrée was mapo tofu. Both The Cat and The Mouse feasted. 🙂

Another plate from the neighborhood take-out diner, this time the accompanying entrée was spicy eggplant. Again happy feasters. Hee hee.

The Mouse’s katsu sandwich from leftovers. Sorry, he took a bite before taking the pic. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Chicken Saturday

Friday was fish, Saturday was chicken. Totally not planned. The Mouse ran an errand for The Cat. On the way home, picked up lunch.

Ma Po Tofu, Chicken Katsu, Rice

In usual take-out. The Mouse ate the chicken, packed the rice and ma po tofu for The Cat’s bento.

The Mouse ran another errand around dinner time. Did he plan it? No comment. Hee hee.

“Super” Greens and Teri Chicken

From Panda Express at the mall.

Most of the greens will be part of The Cat’s bento.

What will today be? Dunno

Stay safe and well.

Special #2 :)

Neighborhood Chinese/drive-inn take-out (dinner was this or Panda Express). Hee hee.

Special #2

All rice (no mac salad), spicy eggplant, chicken katsu. Enough food to contribute to four meals. 🙂

Panda Express has its place, but not last night. Supporting small local business.

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse was thinking about this combo for dinner last night, spicy eggplant and chicken katsu. The Mouse’s go-to take out neighborhood joint just so happened had that combo last night. The Mouse saved a dollar-fifty, score!

Special Combo #2

All rice, no mac salad. Two scoops of the rice, half of the spicy eggplant, and about a third of the chicken katsu saved for The Cat’s bento next week. Nom!

The perfect “pickle” to cut the richness of the meal.

Fresh Cucumber Kimchi

Not too fermented, fresh. Yum!

Enjoy. Eat well.
