Food court upstairs of downtown H Mart.

Front

The Mouse found location a couple of weeks ago. Not cheap eats but decent and reasonble price. First time bought a chasiu bowl for The Cat’s bento.

This time, two toes in the water. Hee hee.

Chasiu Bowl

Bonus is the poached egg included.

Sukiyaki Bowl

The Mouse’s lunch. Two bowls, three meals. The Mouse contributed some rice the the egg to The Cat’s second bento.

Looking forward to the next visit. Mmm.

Be safe, eat good.

Buns

Hamburger buns. House-made in grocery store. Reminds The Mouse of King’s Hawaiian Sweet Bread. 🙂

Package

Buns were on sale. $3.49. 🙂

Leftover chasiu sandwich.

Lunch

Cucumber slices (hiding under the chasiu), yellow mustard, Bulldog sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise. Mmm!

Be well, eat good.

The Cat and The Mouse errand to shopping mall. Lunch stop, Goma-Tei.

Vegetable Tan Tan Ramen

The Cat thought she mistakenly ordered a poached egg, see top left. She meant to order an ajitama egg. Server brought an extra egg gratis, got extra tip.

Ajitama Egg

The Mouse went the pork route.

Chasiu Rice Bowl

Braised pork, rice, egg. Does it get any better? Mmm.

Newish dish, fish dumplings.

Fish Dumplings

With XO sauce. Mmm. Four paws. The Mouse could order this with a bowl of rice and eat happy. 🙂

Comfort Food (Sorta)

Running errands yesterday. By the time The Mouse actually ate something, breakfast went to brunch, went to almost dinch (or dunch, or lupper, or blupper) you get the idea. Ended up at the ramen shop in the mall, so many eating places and yet not much choice (The Mouse’s opinion).

Comfort food.

Fried Rice with Poached Egg and Chasiu (with Dipping Sauce)

The Mouse was near “starving”, ordered an additional poached egg. Hee hee.

Poached Egg

The fried rice was pretty good (especially with the extra poached egg), considering coming from a ramen shop, the chasiu was a little “dry” for The Mouse’s taste (the dipping sauce helped).

Chasiu Closeup

In The Mouse’s dream kitchen, The Mouse would use pork belly instead of loin, think porchetta (no dipping sauce needed). Drool! 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.
