Brown rice jook, cauliflower, chicken feet. The brown rice kinda threw the theme a little off. Oops.

Option to listen to a particular album of The Beatles while eating. The Cat opted not to but slurped anyways. hee hee.

For The Mouse, yesterday’s riced cauliflower was so-so, not much taste, more vegetable than rice. Duh! Today’s bento, The Mouse made a little modification.

Gravy!

Pork belly, cauliflower, riced cauliflower all tied together in gravy (packaged, not scratch), with a sprinkle of turmeric. Gravy makes everything taste better! The Mouse is looking forward to lunch today. Hee hee.

The Cat and The Mouse kinda went lounge hopping for Easter “dinner”.

100 Sails running a half off happy hour special through April. Being pake, gotta take advantage. Hee hee.

Mushroom Flat Bread

The Cat thought okay, no socks off.

KFC, hee hee. The Cat and The Mouse liked. One half to one sock off.

Hummus with Taro Chips

This dish was more “meh”. Either not enough seasoning, or not enough olive oil. Chips were good though.

Uni Pasta Carbonara

This dish was the winner. Squid ink pasta, uni, ikura, shiso leaves. Two socks off. More please. 🙂

Next, headed over to Herringbone (Oyster Hour) for one of The Cat’s favorite vegetable dishes.

Brussels Sprouts and Candied Pecans

So good, The Cat ordered two, one for her bento this week.

And since it is “oyster hour” …

The Cat also wanted to try the restaurant’s signature Buffalo Octopus.

Buffalo Octopus

Slow braised then grilled octopus, spicy sauce, black-eyed peas, ranch dressing. The Cat was more impressed than The Mouse. For The Mouse, flavors didn’t quite mesh together. But, try try.

Dindin ended with a trio of sorbet.

Sorbet

Dragonfruit (only for Easter), coconut, and lilikoi.

Not traditional Easter, but then, why not. Hee hee.
