Not much to see here. Just The Mouse lunch. Quick and easy.

Bread and Sardines

A little bit of oil from the tin, a sprinkle of dried dill, no condiments. Accompanied by a cup of instant miso soup.

Stay safe, eat good.

A tin of tuna from Thailand, The Mouse thinks. Posted about it before, the wrapping was discarded.

Japanese mayonnaise, black pepper, lots of dried dill, a sprinkle of dried chives and dried parsley, whole wheat toast.

Nothing Fancy

No capers in the pantry. Oh well. Wasn’t bad for last minute a throw together. 🙂

Be safe and well.

“Ham” not Liver

The Mouse opened the tin of ham spread.

“Deviled” Ham

On a toasted roll with butter, paprika, and dried parsley.

The Mouse’s Dinner

Overall, not bad, especially with the paprika and parsley added. Still looking for liver though. 🙂

Be safe and well.

Try Try Not-SPAM

The Mouse opened the Libby’s brand of luncheon meat. Kinda squishy texture (softer than SPAM). The Mouse had to fry it up (eating straight from the can was a little eww for The Mouse).

First dish was inspired by the current commercials.

Stir Fry Not-SPAM and Vegetables over Shell Pasta

A tiny bit of sugar and a dribble of shoyu. The luncheon meat had a smokier taste than SPAM, texture was still squishy. Not a favorite but not a total reject either. If no cans of SPAM in the pantry, it’ll do.

Second try try was in saimin.

Frozen Saimin with Scorched Not-SPAM and Wakame

Again, okay in a pinch.

More not-SPAM try tries soon. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Not SPAM

Prepping for zombies, just kidding, sorta. Food prices are raising like crazy. Price for SPAM getting outrageous. Ugh.

The Mouse thought better to get some supplies for the pantry, just in case. I know, not SPAM, but possible desperate times, possible desperate measures.

Not SPAM

Will post later when these are tried. Wish The Mouse luck.

Stay safe and well.
