This place has been on The Mouse’s radar for a long time.

Finally got here yesterday.
The plan was to go for an early dinner (restaurant tends to sell out of items), but The Cat over napped.
At least we were able to order one of the last portions of burnt ends.
Burnt Ends
Mmm, tender and fatty. First time try for The Cat and The Mouse. Fans.
The Cat couldn’t decide her choice for dinner, went with kalua pork.
Kalua Pork Tray
Baked bean, braised red cabbage and sweet rolls (sold out of house-made cornbread). The Cat was slightly underwhelmed. The kalua pork was like other kalua pork. Maybe the restaurant should offer pulled pork instead, just thinking aloud.
The Mouse has leftover lunch. 🙂
The Mouse fared better.
Brisket and Pork Belly
Both brisket and pork belly were very good. The Mouse saved a portion of the pork belly for The Cat’s bento. Trade.
Dessert was a staple for The Cat.
Mudd Pie
The Cat approved a provisional return. She will be ordering ribs next time, or burnt ends and sides.
Worked half day yesterday, long doctor appointment the rest of the day.
Pasta Samples
Microwavable pasta meals the warehouse is planning on carrying. Made in Italy. The Mouse thinks the risotto was the best.
Lunch
At the hospital while waiting for appointment. Slow cooked brisket, guava bbq sauce, garlic mashed potato with skin on, steamed vegetables. Think well cooked pot roast. Yum!
Plan was to cook pork femur bone soup this weekend, warehouse guys couldn’t find the product. 😦
Head butcher said he’ll get me pig tails next week. 🙂
