Lately, whenever we eat at Ruby Tuesday, The Mouse’s order is the same, three sides (spaghetti squash, broccoli, and zucchini) with salad bar.

Plate #1

Mushrooms, broccoli, French dressing, bacon. 🙂

Plate #3

Plate #3

Similar to plate #1. Plate #2 was different, potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, fruit, but The Mouse forgot to take a picture. Was really into the mushrooms and broccoli Sunday.

There’s a very pake reason for being a creature of habit, The Mouse can eat his fill on the salad bar and take the vegetables home for lunch the next day. Two meals! Plus, the order is one of the cheaper dishes on the menu that includes the salad bar. Ka-chang! Hee hee!

The Cat was more up to trying something new.

ATM Benedict with Fruit Bowl

ATM Benedict with Fruit Bowl

Can’t find description on-line (“what does ATM mean???), but, it was vegetarian with avocado, tomato, and mushrooms (if I had to guess).

We arrived just between breakfast and lunch. The Cat ordered breakfast, The Mouse ordered “lunch”. Perfect.

A New Favorite

Just a quickie.

Yesterday, breakfast at Zia’s Caffe. Usually, The Cat orders the Norwegian smoked salmon breakfast. Yesterday to mix it up, she ordered their vegetarian omelet.

Not much happening between holidays. Just regular stuff.

Breakfast

Breakfast

Snowball cookies (from one of The Cat’s clients) and dried plums. The Cat wasn’t too fond of the cookies, too “spicy” (cinnamon and nutmeg) for her.

Lunch

Lunch

Cold cut sandwich on pumpkin bread (from Brug Bakery), raw celery (olive oil and salt), raw sliced turnip (shoyu).

Dinner

Dinner

Sautéed turnip, turnip greens, and celery with shoyu.

The Cat's Bowl

The Cat’s Bowl

Chicken feet soup noodle with turnip and greens.

This batch was pretty epic. Two packages of chicken feet (I usually use one). The soup gelled so solid, I’m thinking of writing to Jell-O with suggestion of a new flavor (chicken feet) with feet. Do you think it would sell? Hee hee!

Enjoy. Eat well.

Loco Moco

Loco Moco

Brown rice, hamburger patty, brown gravy, caramelized onions, and two over easy eggs. Mmm. Ain’t pretty, but oh so delicious. 🙂

Today.

Sumo Breakfast

Sumo Breakfast

Brown rice, SPAM, ham, hot dog, pork sausage, Portuguese sausage, and two eggs (over easy again). Another mmm moment.

At least I opted for brown rice. Hee hee.

Got The Cat a mini, rice, one egg, and one meat (cuz she eats light for breakfast). No picture, it would be anti-climactic. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.
