Free Bread

Free bread offer, no purchase necessary. Six slices French/Japanese style bread.

Bread

No choice, white, soft, fluffy, slighty chewy. The Mouse is not complaining, free is free. πŸ™‚

One slice, toasted, with beef stew from the Irish pub (The Cat brought home).

Beef Stew

The Mouse thinks stout beer is part of the recipe, a good thing. πŸ™‚

Stay safe and well.

The Cat got a gift card from one of her clients to Morton’s The Steakhouse, she decided to use it this past weekend.

Starters:

Onion Bread
Chopped House Salad

Chopped Iceberg and Romaine, cucumbers, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, chopped egg, avocado, vinaigrette. Portion was big, sharable.

Shrimp Cocktail

The Mouse was not sure of the size of the shrimp but they were huge, mini lobster sized. Hee hee.

Lobster Bisque

The Cat’s soup. Again, large portion (she took half home). She said as good as Chef H’s, just without the flambΓ©.

Table Lamp

Base is a sculpture of a sleeping pig. The Mouse wondered, should the base be a sleeping cow? Maybe chain got a discount from a warehouse? Dunno. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Bought from the bakery at the mall.

End pieces from sliced loaves (different varieties). Apparently some customers don’t like the ends of bread. The Mouse, being weird, loves them, as well as the middles. Plus the package was way cheap. The Mouse thinks much better than throwing the ends out. Waste not want not. πŸ™‚

Stay safe and well.

Golden bread from Brug Bakery and wheat bread from JJ2 Bakery. The Mouse can’t wait to dig in. πŸ™‚

Another item caught The Mouse’s eye.

Red Bean Bread

For fun. Also from JJ2 Bakery.

Happy Mouse.

Stay safe and well.

Carrot Bread?

The Mouse thought she heard taro bread, The Mouse thought it tasted more like carrot. Lost in translation? In any case, a tasty add to the provisions. Nom!
