The Cat’s dinner. The Mouse tagged along. Hee hee. Stage Restaurant. We haven’t been here even before shut-down. Restaurant used to serve lunch but stopped. Kinda “speed bump”.

The Cat wanted to try since a long time.

Amuse bouche:

Roasted beet, herbed wasabi lilikoi vinaigrette, radish, bubu arare. Toast with Sriracha mayonnaise. Both were yum.

Close-up of the roasted beet. ๐Ÿ™‚

Appetizer:

Fried Brussels sprouts: applewood smoked bacon, balsamic reduction. Dish normally has Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top but because of The Mouse’s digestive issues, kitchen kindly left it off. Super crispy. The Mouse could’ve eaten another order. ๐Ÿ™‚

Entrรฉe and dessert to follow.

Stay safe and well.

Carrot

“Daikon”ย

Okay, the last one (purple turnip) was a bit of a stretch, jus’ tryin’ to get a “D”. Close enough?

The Mouse took the carrot, The Cat took everything else. No matter how much The Cat denies it, I don’t think she likes carrot very much. If there’s a choice, the carrot is the last to go with The Cat. That’s okay, The Mouse likes carrot.

Enjoy. Eat well.
