Chicken Noodle Soup

Pho style, first time back at the neighborhood Vietnamese/Japanese restaurant since The Cat finished quarantine.

The Mouse wanted something lighter than the normal pho meat combination.

Chicken Pho

Hits the spot.

The Cat had her go-to oxtail soup.

“Cold” (room temperature) Vietnamese vermicelli noodles with barbecue chicken and spring roll.

The Mouse’s Dinner

The Mouse is liking this dish more than pho right now. Everything served, he doesn’t have to add in his own vegetables. Lazy. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

So, The Cat and The Mouse tried the Japanese/Vietnamese restaurant the other day. While there, another customer ordered oxtail soup. Since The Cat likes oxtail soup, we asked him how it was, he said very good. The Cat wanted to try, so the next day we went back.

Oxtail Soup

The broth is same as pho. Not quite what The Cat was expecting but still good (and the leftover broth jelled).

The Mouse went with appetizers.

Gyoza

Well made, The Mouse would order again. Mmm.

Spring Rolls

Yes, The Mouse ordered again. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

New restaurant in the neighborhood. Japanese/Vietnamese cuisine. At first the menu looked a bit daunting, especially the Japanese selections until you look closer. Three prices, first is the entrรฉe, second is sashimi added, and the third is sashimi and tempura added. In reality, the prices are reasonable.

Spring Rolls

Becomes The Mouse’s (and maybe The Cat’s) new favorite spring rolls.

Eye Round Steak and Tendon Pho

The Cat threw in the vegetables before The Mouse could take a pic. The broth was well cooked, the leftover broth gelled. Thumbs up.

Ahi Belly Ginger

Mmm!

Chocolate Tapioca

The Mouse was happy, pudding was made with coconut milk, The Mouse is not a big fan of coconut milk, but better than dairy. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Cat has declared this restaurant is on the go-to list. Yay!

Stay safe and well.

The Cat met with a potential client on Sunday, Vietnamese restaurant. Mrs. insisted on feeding us.

Chicken Salad

Boneless chicken, cabbage, basil, peanuts, onion flakes.

Spring Rolls
Winter Rolls

Shredded pork, vermicelli, vegetables.

The Cat also ate a small bowl of pho.

Except for the bowl of pho, we took most of the food home. We ate lunch prior to the meeting and were full. Food was very tasty and The Cat and The Mouse made dinner with the leftovers. ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay safe and well.
