The Mouse picked up at the grocery store, convenient and reasonable.

Roast Turkey with Gravy

The Mouse didn’t have to eat a whole plate lunch, just the turkey. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

Turkey Day

Holiday eats. Not too spectacular, comfort food, kinda sorta.

The Mouse wanted coffee. Cheapest at MikeyD’s, cost of three coffees (two for The Mouse, one senior for The Cat) probably close to buying one at Starbucks. Since there, The Mouse also ordered griddle cakes, English muffin, and pancakes (for The Cat).

Turkey Take-Out

From the neighborhood grocery store. Turkey and all the fixings under 10 bucks. 🙂 The Mouse shared some with The Cat.

Creamy Turkey Soup

Turkey is not The Cat’s favorite, but she likes turkey soup/jook done well. The Cat almost licked the bowl with this one. made by Chef H.

Stay safe and well.

One of The Mouse favorites.

Open Faced Turkey Sandwich

Murphy’s Irish Pub. Downtown. Not a sandwich, entree sized, only thing missing was the stuffing. The Mouse made a mistake and ordered wheat bread not white. Turkey roasted in house, not processed, nice balance between light and dark meat (the force is in balance, Hee hee). Mashed potato yummy.

Too bad The Mouse couldn’t order butter grilled white toast, give the dish the buttered roll vibe.

The Cat ordered smoked porkchop, which will be posted later.

Hope you all have a great new year, best wishes for the beyond!

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Mouse was in the mood for “bold” tastes last night.

Cucumber Kimchi

Mango Chutney

The food was almost an afterthought, hee hee.

Roast Turkey Plate Lunch

Got to the grocery store a little late, turkey was down to “scraping the pan”, a little “over warmed”, lucky The Mouse had the condiments. Yum.

Drink included with meal. Normally, The Mouse would choose a caffeinated diet soda, but being dinner, VERY little caffeine for The Mouse.

Water, with a Splash of Iced Tea with Kalamansi Lime

Purified water, with a splash of raspberry iced tea, Kalamansi lime.

Enough of the turkey plate for The Mouse to take a bento for today’s lunch. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

Picked up a turkey plate from the neighborhood supermarket the other day.

Turkey Plate

Peas and carrots (they ran out of the regular steamed vegetables), corn, and turkey. Gravy all over (super local style). Dunno what they did to the turkey, but super juicy and tender. One of the better turkey dishes in a while. Yum!

There was even enough for The Mouse to take for lunch the next day.

Gravied Turkey and Corn on Japanese Bread Toast

The Japanese white bread, toasted, was perfect for the leftover. Soaked up all of the sauce. Hee hee. Happy Mouse.

Luckily asked for lots of gravy. 🙂

As you may have guessed, The Mouse is a big fan of turkey ala king and turkey pot pies. Just don’t eat them too often. Silly doctors.

Enjoy. Eat well.
