The Mouse’s. Rummaging through the pantry and freezer.
Steamed rice, natto, “fish steaks” (large sardines) with green peppers. The natto was frozen. The Mouse threw it into the rice while the rice was “resting” to defrost. Natto lost some of its “slime” but okay otherwise. ๐

Sometimes, cannot leave The Mouse unsupervised in the kitchen. Hee hee.
The Mouse, browsing the web, came across pasta with natto and tomato. Hmm. No pasta, but natto and tomato available.
Tomato, large chunks, seasoned with salt, pepper, celery seed. Natto, stirred vigorously, ponzu, chipotle sauce, yellow mustard.

Delicious, although I will admit, it’s an acquired taste, but The Mouse loves natto, so …
Next time, adding crispy bacon and angel hair or thin spaghetti pasta. Mmm.
