Partly cleaning out the refridge.

The Mouse’s lunch did not start out as a “franken” dish, more finishing leftovers. The Cat’s leftover sope. One of the meat managers at the warehouse made spicy tuna, The Mouse couldn’t resist. He figured sope was spicy, spicy tuna was spicy, why not.

Leftover Carnita Sope with Spicy Tuna

Kinda went together, not a perfect fit, but okay.

The Cat’s dinner was really cleaning out the refridge. Coconut milk, leftover pesto bruschetta (bread and all), celery, egg. Throw all together and hope for the best.

The Cat seemed to like, at least didn’t go eww! Hee hee.

Oh, The Mouse might be unplugged for a few days. Changing computer and turkey stuffing, or is it stuffed mouse.

If on, on, if not on, not on. Stay tuned.

Happy Thanksgiving (if you are so inclined).

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Mouse’s lunch yesterday.

Chili and Onions

Costco, across the street from the warehouse. Onions from the hot dog condiment stand there. Maybe The Mouse overdid it with the onions? There was a definite chemical reaction with the beans and the onions in The Mouse’s digestion. Whew!

On another note, noticed in the kitchen.

Container, Repurposed

Filled with M&Ms. Hmm kimchi flavored M&Ms. I wonder. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Mouse, chained to the desk.

Tofu “Poke”

Pork Guisantes

Or pork and peas. Made by co-worker who shared. Just the way The Mouse like it, not too much pork (I know, sacrilegious right?), lots of peas. For The Mouse, the dish is more about the peas than the pork. Just this dish. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Mouse’s “Mess”

First an update, yesterday’s pastry (chef later told us) are Caneles, French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla, soft center and caramelized crust. He was trying something new.

So last night, The Cat had dinner with a client. The Mouse home alone. Ended up with leftovers and a marked down breakfast from the grocery store.

The Mouse’s Mess

Lentils, natto, pastele stew, “SPAM jerky”, sausage, two eggs. The SPAM was not meant to be “jerky” but after hours in the warming tray, well, it happens. Luckily, the eggs were not rubbery, just well done.

Not photogenic, but The Mouse liked. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

The Cat is still on the tomato soup mend.

Tomato Soup and Yogurt

This time, for variety, The Mouse added a scoop of plain yogurt. The Mouse was looking for some kinda dairy, cream, sour cream was in too much quantity. Half a single serve container of yogurt was the ticket.

The Mouse finally caved.

Li Hing Powder

On sale, a little bit. There’s gonna be some happy canned pineapple and maybe an apple or two in The Mouse’s near future. And a happy mouse too. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.
